A Knox woman is in jail after allegedly pepper-spraying her ex and threatening to kill him during an argument at her home on the morning of April 16.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, police say 31-year-old Anita Marie Payne allegedly made the threats by phone before the confrontation, then sprayed the man in the face as he tried to leave. She faces charges of terroristic threats and simple assault. Unable to post $5,000 bail, Payne remains in the Clarion County Jail.
A preliminary hearing is set for April 29.
