A Garrettsville, Ohio man has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Erie on charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Robert Alan Pepus, 26, faces six federal counts, including traveling across state lines to engage in sexual activity with a minor and producing child sexual abuse material in Warren County, between September and October 2024. He also faces charges for possessing child sexual abuse material. If convicted, Pepus could face a maximum sentence of life plus 130 years in prison and up to $1.5 million in fines. Pepus is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
