A Sigel man and woman have been charged after allegedly stealing cash multiple times from a barn in Eldred Township used for selling straw and firewood.
Police say surveillance footage captured Charles McCutcheon, 37, and Angel Hughes, 35, during the thefts in August 2024. McCutcheon later admitted to taking money and identified himself in one of the images. Around $700 was reportedly stolen.
Both face felony burglary and trespassing charges and are set for a preliminary hearing on September 11, 2025.
