A DuBois man already in custody at the Jefferson County Jail is facing new felony and misdemeanor charges after correctional staff reportedly found methamphetamine on him during a search.
The Courier Express reports, 50 year-old, Aaron Thomas Wineberg, was booked into the jail on Oct. 25, and two days later, he allegedly pulled a small baggie of suspected meth from his sock and threw it on the floor during a strip search. State police were called to investigate the incident.
Wineberg is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance by an inmate and misdemeanor drug counts. He is being held on $50,000 bail with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 3.
