District 9 teams were busy on the hardwood Wednesday night as St. Marys topped Bradford 44-36, Elk County Catholic defeated Kane 44-32, Johnsonburg rolled past Ridgway 53-25, and Brockway beat DuBois Central Catholic 52-40 in boys action. KSAC winners included Clarion over Clarion-Limestone 64-44, Cranberry over A-C Valley 80-42, North Clarion over Union 49-25, and Brookville over Forest Area 78-41, while Hollidaysburg edged Clearfield 55-53 in LHAC East play.
On the girls side, Ridgway defeated Johnsonburg 42-32, North Clarion beat Union/A-C Valley 51-35, Brookville edged Clarion-Limestone 51-47, Port Allegany topped Austin 43-21, Smethport defeated Oswayo Valley 38-20, Cameron County rolled past Coudersport 56-20, and Northern Potter shut out Galeton 44-6.
Several other games were postponed due to weather.
