A 21-year-old Brookville woman is charged with stealing a coworker’s debit card and attempting to use it at multiple businesses while on a work break, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, Kaylee Jane McAninch allegedly took the card from a locker at Jefferson Manor in Pine Creek Township on Nov. 21 and tried to make 10 transactions, with most denied.
Police said $15.46 in purchases were approved at McDonald’s and Sunoco. McAninch is charged with access device fraud and related offenses, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled April 2 before Gregory M. Bazylak.
