A 93-year-old Ohio man was not injured after his vehicle struck a downed tree late Tuesday night in Perry Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney.
Troopers said Ralph R. Harvey of Hubbard, Ohio, was traveling west on North 8th Road (Route 3008) around 9:28 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, left the roadway and collided with the tree. The 2024 Kia Forte came to rest atop the tree facing northwest. Harvey was wearing a seat belt and was cited for failure to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
Emergency crews assisted at the scene.
