In the District 9 Class 3A championship, Karns City edged out top-seeded St. Marys with a 5-4 victory to claim the title.
Punxsutawney dominated the District 9 Class 4A championship game, defeating Clearfield 13-3 in just five innings.
In the District 8-9-10 Class 5A semifinals, DuBois advanced with a 3-1 win over Allderdice.
Softball
In the District 9 Class 2A semifinals, Redbank Valley pulled off a close 8-7 win over Brockway, while Cranberry rolled past Brookville 13-3 in six innings to move on to the finals.

Port Allegany vs. DuBois Central Catholic, 4 p.m. at Brockway High School
Elk County Catholic vs. Clarion, 4 p.m. at Stern Field, DuBois.
Class 2A Semifinals:
Kane vs. Redbank Valley, 6:30 p.m. at Showers Field, DuBois.
Curwensville vs. Moniteau, 4 p.m. at Showers Field, DuBois.
Class 3A, 4A, and 5A all have sub-region games early next week
