A 91-year-old Forest County man is in jail after allegedly threatening to shoot his neighbors over a shared water well.
On September 13, police responded to a 911 call from Clifford C. Alexander, who claimed he would shoot his neighbors if they approached the well on State Route 666. Alexander, of Endeavor, was reportedly sitting on his porch when police arrived, stating he had “a ton of ammo” and would “take care” of the neighbors if necessary. The dispute started after the neighbors tried to place a shed over the well.
Alexander was charged with felony terroristic threats, two counts of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and harassment. He allegedly flailed and swung at troopers during his arrest, sustaining a wrist injury. After being treated at Titusville Hospital, he was arraigned and is being held at Warren County Jail on $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 23.
