A Brookville teenager was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries after crashing her car into a disabled vehicle on Interstate 80 East in Washington Township, Jefferson County, late Wednesday night.
The PSP report says 18 year-old, Averi R. Pangallo, was driving a 2016 Mazda 3 when she impacted a 2024 Audi A6 that was blocking the left lane after an earlier collision with a deer at mile marker 91.4. The occupants of the Audi were safely out of their vehicle at the time of the secondary crash.
Pangallo, who was reportedly not using a seat belt, was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois by ambulance and was cited by police for a violation of driving on roadways laned for traffic.
