In District 9 girls basketball action yesterday, Clarion-Limestone defeated DuBois Central Catholic 54-40 and Elk County Catholic topped Otto-Eldred 50-38 in the Class 1A semifinals, while Class 2A saw Keystone beat Brockway 56-42 and Kane edge Port Allegany 56-47; in the Class 3A semifinal, Karns City rolled past Moniteau 43-23, and in the District 8-9-10 Class 5A subregional, Cathedral Prep dominated Punxsutawney 49-12.
