A Clearfield County man is facing multiple charges after Pennsylvania State Police said he assaulted an emergency responder while being transported by ambulance in Centre County.
Troopers said 21-year-old Aaron Myers became combative Friday night while being taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, allegedly pushing an EMT and damaging the ambulance, causing more than $5,000 in damage. Police also said suspected marijuana paraphernalia was found after Myers was taken into custody. He is charged with aggravated assault on a first responder, simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Myers is being held at the Centre County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail.
