A Punxsutawney man is facing charges after police say he gave a false name while officers attempted to arrest him on an active warrant in Reynoldsville Borough.
According to a criminal complaint, 33-year-old Robert Nelson Scott allegedly identified himself as “Cameron” before admitting he lied because he did not want his family to know he was wanted or on parole.
Scott is charged with false identification to law enforcement, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 23.
