Two motorists were not injured after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Clearfield County on June 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said the collision occurred around 5:18 p.m. westbound near mile marker 111.5 when an 18-year-old driver from Allison Park attempted to change lanes and struck a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Punxsutawney man. The impact forced the man’s Mazda off the roadway and into a drainage ditch, where it became disabled. Police said both vehicles were occupied by seatbelted drivers at the time of the crash. The Mazda sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
The other driver was cited for failure to drive within a single lane.
