While Major League Baseball has yet to play a game this season, it has released its 2021 schedule.
The Pirates will open on April 1st at Wrigley Field versus the Cubs. The Bucs’ first home game will be April 8th, also against the Cubs. Cross-state rival Philadelphia will visit PNC Park for three games beginning July 30th.
The Pirates are home the Fourth of July against the Brewers, and they are also slated to face the AL Central in interleague play.
